Sweet Soy Grilled Salmon
Ingredients
1.5 pounds of salmon fillets
Juice of two lemons
Grated garlic (2 cloves)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/3 cup of soy sauce
1/3 cup of brown sugar
¼ cup olive oil
Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, and olive oil until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a large resealable plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture, seal, and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, the longer it stays marinating, the better.
Spray your grill with olive oil or put some oil on a napkin and then clean your grill with the oily napkin. You may also want to put foil on the grill if you’re afraid the salmon will fall through. Place salmon on the preheated grill, and discard marinade. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Do not turn it over too early, make sure it has a nice crust before you turn it otherwise it might fall apart.
Enjoy!
