Ana Winocur, former TV Azteca presenter passed away earlier this week at the young age of 45. The Mexican journalist is rumored to have died from pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer.

What is pancreatitis?
Pancreatitis is the swelling and inflammation of the pancreas. According to Healthline, gallstones are the most common cause of acute pancreatitis. The pancreas and gallbladder share a bile duct, through which bile and other digestive enzymes pass during digestion. Gallstones can cause inflammation in both the bile duct and the pancreas.
