People are constantly finding new ways to lose weight, whether it is through dieting, weight loss programs or simply picking up “healthy habits.” There’s no such thing as fast weight loss, at least without any side-effects. Diet and exercise are really the only way to lose weight and keep it off. Yet, there are many misleading diets, fads, and labels, such as fat-free, sugar-free and low-calorie that promise quick results. These fast weight loss trends are not good for you and the worst part is that you will regain the weight back after you stop using them.

This is super popular, especially among those that live busy lifestyles and don’t have the patience to eat fruits and vegetables. There are diets like the Hollywood 48-hour miracle diet, which promises you will lose up to 10 pounds in just 48 hours. The average person can lose 2 pounds a week when they watch what they eat and exercise, with these quick fixes, you are putting your body through too much, which can have side-effects like gas, bloating, diarrhea, muscle loss and a weak immune system.
