5 Reasons To Switch To Black Sugar

Better taste. While you might need more that one spoon of sugar to make your coffee sweet, you will only need one spoon of black sugar to sweeten your coffee. Since black sugar is purer,  the taste is stronger. That way you will eat smaller amounts of sugar in your daily life and your sugar will last longer!dark brown sugar, black sugar

You can use it in everything. Some people have the wrong idea that black sugar cannot be used when baking or cooking. The truth is that your cakes and cupcakes –and whatever you cook, basically– will be delicious, the only difference will be its browner color and the reduced amount of sugar used!

Beauty uses too. Since black sugar is thicker than white sugar, there are thousands of DIY sugar-based masks which are perfect to exfoliate your skin! You can mix black sugar with honey, olive oil, yogurt, Aloe Vera… Every mixture has different benefits and it will make your body as smooth as silk. You can even use it on your lips. In autumn and winter, our lips tend to dry and this means dead skin all over our lips, get rid of this ugly problem with these masks. Simple and delicious!

Give black sugar a try and you won’t regret it. Now that this sugar is becoming more popular you might be able to buy it at your local supermarket, but if you can’t find it there, you can try in a farmer’s market or an organic supermarket.
