Still unable to get any answers, he visited the Instituto Nacional de Nutrición in Mexico City and their team did various tests that found that he has a small tumor in his pancreas, which is what was causing his weight loss. His doctor explained to him that this tumor was caused by many negative things, such as betrayals, lies, aggression, things that all of that your organs feel.
There have been many studies suggesting that repressed anger, hate, and resentment can play a crucial role in the development of cancer. Many times emotional triggers increase stress hormones, which can lead to cancer. The National Cancer Institute says that research with animal models suggests that “your body’s neuroendocrine response (release of hormones into your blood in response to stimulation of your nervous system) can directly alter important processes in cells that help protect against the formation of cancer, such as DNA repair and the regulation of cell growth.”
Luckily, José José’s cancer is not terminal and he is undergoing chemotherapy to decrease the size of the tumor. “The doctor told me not to worry, that it’s very small and that I’m going to overcome this because I am in good health and that I will receive chemotherapy to decrease the size of the tumor,” he explains.
“I want everyone to know that the rest of my organism is fine…and I am ready to confront this new adventure in my life with God’s hand and yours as well,” says the singer. We’re very glad he was able to find the reason behind his weight loss and that he never gave up.
