For 60 years, the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition has been working to improve the health and well-being of millions of children, adults, and families.

The Council, in partnership with the National Foundation on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition is commemorating the Council’s 60th anniversary with the launch of the #0to60 Campaign. #0to60 is a national public engagement campaign dedicated to inspiring Americans to accelerate their journey toward an active and healthy life, and you only need 60 minutes.

You can use apps such as MapMyWalk, Nike+Running,Pedometer+++ or Runtastic Pedometer to help start your fitness journey. These apps can help you to start tracking exactly what your exercise is doing for you, by recording your daily activity. Make sure to tweet #0t060 to spread the positive vibes.

With the 0 to 60 campaign, Artists such as Jordan Sparks have teamed up with the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition to encourage Americans to get healthy and active one step at a time. Here are some lyrics of the song that she collaborates on:

“Today’s the day to start fresh / Put your body up to the test / You can go fast or slow, it don’t matter, get up and go,” Sparks sings on “Zero to Sixty.” “What are you waiting for? Move your body now / Live free.”
