Lateral Step-Up Squat Press
If you don’t have a block to step on, you can even do this on a staircase. Grab your dumbbells and stand to the right side of the step. Place one foot flat on the center of the step and lower down into a squat, holding the weights in front of your shoulders. Extend legs, bringing your other foot right on top of the step and reach into the sky with the dumbbells. Do 3 sets of 10.
Alternating Skip-Ups
This is fun exercise, where you stand on top of the step on one leg and fold your knee in and jump. Kind of like a half skip, using your arms to balance yourself and to push your body up. Do 3 sets of 15.
Tricep Dip
If you want sexy toned arms, this is the best exercise. Sit on the edge of the steps or even your bed or couch with your legs bent at about 90 degrees, then lift your hips off the edge, pressing your shoulders down. Bend your elbows and lower hips and extend your arms. Do 3 sets of 15.
