According to The Sun, Adele says she was drinking lots of tea, with lots of sugar. “I would drink 10 cups of tea with two sugars each, which means I was drinking 20 servings of sugar a day. Now I don’t drink it and I have more energy than ever,” said Adele.

In addition, she left other bad habits, like alcohol and tobacco, which led her to a healthier lifestyle and visiting the gym more often. The singer says she doesn’t enjoy going to the gym, even though she likes lifting weights. “My blood vessels from my face burst very easily, which is why I have to be very careful when I lift weights,” she said to Rolling Stone.

Most of the time blood vessels during weight lifting are tiny capillaries that aren’t able to take the pressure of the force of blood pumping within their thin walls. These ruptured vessels in the eye make it look like the eye is bleeding.

Ruptured vessels are not painful and generally don’t pose a medical problem. Many times you have to be careful or avoid lifting super heavy weights to avoid your blood vessels from bursting. Alcohol, hot showers or bathscan also cause broken vessels, so it’s important to limit that as well

As far as tea, it’s best to drink it without any sugar to get the most out of its antioxidant properties. Tea is a great way to drink more water, plus it reduces inflammation, which is great when you’re trying to lose weight. We’re so glad Adele is looking better than ever and it only took small steps to achieve great results.
