Pepe Aguilar’s Son Suffers From Mental Illness

José Emiliano Aguilar, Pepe Aguilar’s oldest son was arrested last March for trying to smuggle 4 Chinese men illegally into the U.S. Apparently they had agreed to pay between $3,000 and $6,000 each if they successfully entered the U.S. Pepe Aguilar explains that this was a cry for help because his son was suffering prior to this and is currently suffering from mental illness.Embed from Getty Images

“I understand the pain he was going through because after all of this happened I learned a lot of things that I didn’t know of my son,” says Pepe Aguilar to El Gordo y La Flaca. “Now I understand that in reality, he was crying for help, but to himself, because he wasn’t telling anyone anything until this happened.”
