What’s contempt of court?
Contempt of court is the failure to obey a court order, in this case, the failure to pay child support. A judge can put you in jail or make you set up a payment schedule for you to pay any unpaid support. In this case, the judge thought Quintanilla needed to learn a lesson, which is why she locked him up. There’s no word whether he’s been released, but there’s definitely a lesson to be learned here.

Children need a good support system to grow up healthy, and that includes food on the table, health insurance, trips to the doctor, clothes, school costs, etc. One parent can’t do it alone, there are many that do so due to various circumstances, but it’s something that you should be held responsible for, so don’t be like him, pay your child support, and avoid jail.
