Takes Care of Her Skin
JLo tells InStyle that she’s always taken care of her skin and that she’s a firm believer in SPF and staying away from the sun. She wears a lot of makeup when she’s working, so when she’s at home, she gives her skin a break and doesn’t wear too much makeup. She values the amount of sleep she gets every night and ideally she would like to get 9 or ten hours, but normally shoots for 8 (lucky her!). “I definitely think that beauty comes from within–you have to keep your mind, soul, body and spirit in sync. I am a firm believer in meditating and when you are happy and feel joy and love, you radiate beauty,” she says.
Likes Variety In Her Workouts
JLo is not afraid of putting in the hard work to stay strong, and on Instagram, she’s shared videos doing a variety of workouts including boxing, dancing, and other workouts. Tracy Anderson is Lopez’s personal trainer and the person responsible for keeping her body as strong as it is. Anderson explains that when she visits her in her studio, she raises the room temperature. “Doing workouts in a warm and humid environment makes your muscles more pliable (be careful not to push yourself too far), so these dynamic movements are easier to perform. That’s good news, considering our goal is lengthen our muscles,” says Anderson to Health. Check out one of her workouts she does with JLo below.
