Michael Jordan Donates Lawsuit Winnings to 23 Non-profits
Michael Jordan is a generous man, but just don’t use his name without permission because you will have to pay. That’s the case for Safeway, who used his name in a 2009 Dominick’s store ad. After a 6 year legal battle, Safeway was forced to pay $8.9 million to Jordan who will be awarding the winnings of this legal battle to community organizations close to his heart.
