Homemade Cough Syrup & Decongestant

Homemade Decongestant

radish, raddishes, red raddishesThis is great for when you have horrible chest congestion that you can’t get rid of.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of honey
  • 1 cup of lemon juice
  • 5-7 radishes
  • 1 small red onion
  • 6 garlic cloves

 

Wash and peel the vegetables as you normally do, then blend everything until it’s smooth. You can drink it thick or you can strain it, whichever is your preference. This can last up to a week when refrigerated. Adults can take 2 tbsp. and children 1 tbsp. as needed.
