Snack On Raw Sesame Seed Bars

Snacking is something that everyone does because it helps you from overeating, it helps control your hunger, and even helps manage your blood sugar. Yet, you have to be careful about how you snack and always have healthy snacks handy that are not packed with sugar, which can be a big problem. One way to do it is to make your own snacks and raw sesame seeds bars are not only delicious but very good for you too.

Helps reduce cholesterol and blood pressure: Thanks to its content in methionine (an essential amino acid), they promote the production of both good and bad cholesterol. In addition, their polyunsaturated fatty acids are heart healthy.

Raw Sesame Seed Bars

Ingredients:

– 1 cup sesame

– 1/2 cup Honey

– One teaspoon Cinnamon

– A pinch of salt

First, toast the seeds a little in a pan or in the oven until they are golden brown. In a pan, add the honey and add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of cinnamon and mix it well. Then add the toasted sesame seeds to the mixture. Once you have everything mixed spread the mixture on a baking sheet and flatten it and let it cool, then cut into bars. This is a very basic recipe, but if you’d like, you can also add dehydrated fruits, or other seeds, nuts, and even cereals.  They are delicious!
