Many celebrities use their popularity to do good, but when it comes to a disease that affects a close relative—they pour their heart and soul into a project that can potentially help millions. That’s the case for the Puerto Rican salsero, Victor Manuelle, whose father has Alzheimer’s.

Last month, Manuelle did a walk in San Juan, Puerto Rico in order to bring awareness to Alzheimer’s disease. “Nothing in my artistic career has given me more satisfaction, than what I’m doing at this moment,” said the singer after visiting an Alzheimer’s center. “Today I made time to enjoy, sing and dance with all of those patients.”
