Do Obese and Skinny People Have the Same Risk for Diabetes?

Many of them will go through many fad diets and take diet supplements to avoid eating right and exercising, which is really bad for their health. Their goal is to be skinny, rather than to be healthy. The lack of exercise can cause their muscles to be weak and in the long-term they are more likely to develop insulin resistance, which puts them at risk for diabetes.

  2. Exercise and build muscle
  3. Eat Omega 3’s
  4. Drink more tea, less coffee
  5. Sleep 8 hours

Being skinny fat is nothing to be proud of and if you’re skinny, don’t take diet and exercise for granted. The best way to find out what’s going on inside your body is to visit your doctor at least once a year. Your doctor is the only one that can tell you how healthy you are by doing routine exams that measure your blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes. It doesn’t seem like much, but these routine exams can tell a lot about your health, even if you’re skinny.
