Red Nose Day’s mission is to bring resources to children who live in poverty. Celebrities joined forces traveling all over the world finding the stories of families that struggle to give their children basic necessities for them to survive. For many people living in the U.S., when they think of poverty, they think about foreign countries in Africa and Latin America, but they never realize that there’s poverty happening right where they live where children are going hungry because their parents can’t afford to feed them.

One of the most heartbreaking stories of the Red Nose Day Special was when Ludacris visited a school in Atlanta where 50% of the children’s families are below the poverty level and many go hungry over the weekend.
