The list goes on and now Jordan has announced that the following non-profits will be receiving the proceeds of the lawsuit, including several Latino organizations:

Casa Central, Chicago Scholars, Chicago Youth Programs, Children’s Literacy Initiative, Christopher House, Common Threads, Erikson Institute, Gary Comer Youth Center, Greater Chicago Food Depository, KEEN Chicago, La Casa Norte, La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Make-A-Wish Illinois, New Moms, New Teacher Center, Project Exploration, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Sinai Health System, SOS Children’s Villages Illinois and Tutoring Chicago.

He chose these 23 organizations—symbolic of his jersey number that he wore for so many years. We’re sure these organizations couldn’t be happier that they will be receiving an early Christmas present from the superstar. The exact dollar amount the organizations will be receiving has not been disclosed.
