Massy Arias is a fan of makeup at the gym and CoverGirl took notice because she’s the newest face of the beauty brand. The Dominican beauty couldn’t be more excited about taking this new role that will open new doors for her.
“I remember watching America’s next top model growing up as a young girl. Dreaming of a chance to experience for just one minute what it’d be like to take pictures with pretty makeup and pretend I was a model… A Covergirl. Oh, but did I ever believe I would one day become one. It’s extremely humbling now to be in a position where I can possibly inspire young girls and women around the world,” she said on Instagram.

She also talked about the stigma of wearing makeup to the gym. Before, women wouldn’t even dream of wearing makeup to the gym because it would get messy, but nowadays there is a bigger demand for makeup that women can wear even at the gym. “There’s a stigma around wearing makeup at the gym, but there are times I proudly rock a full face, especially when I’m filming and want that extra dose of confidence before putting myself out there in front of millions of people.”
