Motivational speaker, María Marín is going through a very difficult time at the moment. On Monday, she announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and that she will be having surgery to remove the tumors she has.
“The word cancer is very difficult to say,” said Marín to People en Español. “At first I wasn’t able to say the word cancer because it’s very difficult when you have it.”
During her annual checkup was when she found that she had a tumor on her right breast. When she found out she started crying and immediately called her friend Dr. Juan Rivera. He told her to stay calm because everything was going to be o.k.
