In an interview with People Magazine, Lopez talked about her previous relationships with Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony.

“I think different time, different thing. Who knows what could’ve happened? But there was a genuine love there,” she told People Magazine. She called off the wedding back in 2004 due to feeling the pressures from not only the public, but just not feeling it was right at that moment. “We didn’t try to have a public relationship. We just happened to be together at the birth of the tabloids, and it was like ‘Oh my God.’ It was just a lot of pressure,” she explains.
It was a difficult time, but not nearly as bad as the end of her third marriage with Marc Anthony. The couple split in 2012 after almost 8 years of marriage and two children. Lopez called the divorce “devastating and awful and “the biggest disappointment of my life so far.” She explains that she had put her heart and soul to this marriage, so much—that she even forgot to be herself when she was in that relationship.
