She even touched on the issue of Jane being bisexual. “So many fans ask me if Jane is bisexual,” she says. “Jane is the furthest from bisexual–maybe Gina’s a little closer than Jane is!–but I love that they want that. And I’m all about ‘Jetra.’ I love ‘Jetra.'” Petra is Rafael’s ex-wife and Jane and Petra together are where the Jetra comes from. She goes on to say that she would want to play out bisexual actress Stephanie Beatriz’s fictional girlfriend on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. “I want to play her love interest so bad, I really hope they make that happen.”

Even though Rodriguez hasn’t confirmed if she’s bisexual, she’s currently dating Joe LoCicero and she doesn’t feel like she needs to define her sexuality. “I don’t need anyone to define their sexuality to me nor do I feel the need to either. I love hearts. Period,” she says on Twitter.
