She says that Leo has her wrapped around his little finger. She thought she was going to be a strict mom, but she turned out to be cool and strict at the same time, so she had to find a balance. “Leo determines what I do with my day. I pretty much live my life at the zoo, aquarium, park, museum. People would probably be surprised to know that I actually love going to Disneyland–a few years ago I would have told you, hell no!”
Lozada had Leo 21 years after her daughter, so it was really difficult to adjust to having a newborn at home. “Thank God my family was there to help, and putting him on a nightly routine also put him on track. It took a while though.,” she says.
Her advice to mom’s going through the same thing as she is to never give up. It’s difficult but well worth it. “Make time for yourself and trust and believe things will always be better. Stay positive,” says Lozada.
