Dayanara Torres’ Children Are Teens & She’s Ready To Get Back To Work!

Dayanara Torres has been out of the spotlight for a while, especially since she had to undergo a tough child support battle with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. They share custody of their two children, Cristian and Ryan, who are her world.

“For me, being a mother is the principal role and I kind of pushed my career to the side” says Torres in an interview with People en Español. Now that her children are teens, Cristian is 16 and Ryan are 13, she feels that they don’t need her as much as when they were younger, which is why she’s taken on more work lately.

The Puerto Rican actress, singer, and former Miss Universe was a judge in a Philippines beauty pageant, which put her in an international spotlight, which is why she’s had many work offers, including publicity campaigns, and work on TV and movies. “Work is starting to come in and I feel happy. My children also support me working,” she says.
