Domestic violence is something that happens very often in the Latino culture. One in three women have experienced domestic violence and unfortunately it’s something that they keep quiet, so those numbers might actually be bigger. Christina Milian recently opened up about her experience with domestic violence on her show, Christina Milian Turned Up.

The actress and singer is helping promote an app called Stop Attack, which is an emergency assault app. When the app is activated it becomes a virtual witness to assaults. It records video and audio recordings, which are sent to a secured cloud storage location in real time. Even if the attacker breaks your phone, those recordings could be accessed later and used as evidence.
