Shakira is the #1 Latina to Follow On Twitter, Learn How to Get Her Rock Hard Abs

Shakira is one of the most loved Colombianas and now she’s the most followed Latina celebrity on Twitter with 35 million followers and ranking #15 on the list of most followers. Just last week she was pictured in Barcelona showing her post-baby bod and rock hard abs in a bikini top and skirt. How does she do it?

Shakira, 38 gave birth to her second son, Sasha, just 8 months ago and she’s already bounced back to the hot body she’s known to have. The singer has been working with personal trainer, Anna Keiser, who developed the workout program AKT InMotion, which is how Shakira got her figure into top shape.

“Anna and I have worked together for years,” Shakira told Us Weekly last month. “We met when I wanted to get in shape to promote my album ‘She Wolf.’ She’s so determined and passionate about helping people reach their goals, and on top of that is just a really wonderful person.”

In an interview with Shape Magazine, Anna Kaiser explains that Shakira likes variety in her workouts. She loves to mix it up and play tennis, squash, paddle boarding, ballet, barre exercises, kickboxing, hip-hop, sports training and pilates. When it comes to getting in shape after pregnancy, the trainer explained: “It’s important to work slowly and intelligently in your strength work before revving up the intensity. Start with deep diaphragmatic breathing to reengage and reconnect with your abdominals. Cardio should remain low-impact at first. You can gradually kick up the intensity. Interval training is a great way to incorporate short bouts of strength and cardio efficiently too (moms have small windows of time!). You can even integrate yoga poses between intervals to get more out of one session.”
