She’s a big fan of nutritionist Kelly LeVeque, which has some great simple advice that can help you lose weight and keep it off.

Kelly LeVeque recently released a book called Body Love, which is a nutritional guide that helps people clean up their eating habits the right way, the healthy way. “The Fab Four are proteins, fats, fiber, and greens. Those four things together actually turn off all the hunger hormones in your body and elongate your blood sugar curve,” said LeVeque to InStyle magazine. “Instead of counting calories, we’re looking for and counting up the things that our cells need to feel calm and relaxed.”

A lot of times our diets lack the good stuff and following a diet that is rich in proteins, good fats, fiber, and greens will help you keep fuller, but it also helps you stay healthy from the inside out. “It’s amazing to me—I’ll put a client on the Fab Four smoothie and when you use that formula, you’re creating an environment that’s not a roller coaster so you can make those healthier, cleaner decisions,” she says. “Everyone thinks their will power is just waining as the day goes on, but no! You’ve just been riding a blood sugar rollercoaster all day long.”
