Holidays like Mother’s Day are especially difficult for people who have lost their mother. They are only left with the beautiful memories of their mom and many times, regrets. Angelique Boyer lost her mother when she was 26 years old, which was 3 years ago and she regrets not being able to spend more time with her mother.
Many times as adults we forget about our aging parents, especially when we are focused on our career and a family of our own. One of Boyer’s regrets is not spending enough time listening to her mother when she fell ill.
“The truth is that my personality has to do a lot with the way I was brought up and how I grew up with her and how my parents raised me, and losing my mother when I was 26 years-old made me mature a lot,” she said.
She regrets not calling her mother when she got sick because that’s something that she really needed. Now she knows that her mom is an angel and that she’s watching over her, but what she wouldn’t give to spend time with her again.
For now, Boyer still feels that she’s too young to be a mother, even though she knows she would like to be one someday. “Being an actress I’ve been married several times, and I know it’s a great party, but it’s never really been my dream,” she says. She is currently dating Sebastián Rulli and enjoying the single life.
