Cristina Saralegui’s Brother Dies From Liver Transplant Complications

Cristina Saralegui was the Oprah of the Latino community for many years and the Cuban presenter has been retired for some years now. Yesterday she shared the sad news that her brother Iñaki has passed away.

“Last night my brother Iñaki died after spending 5 months in the hospital after having a liver transplant,” she wrote on social media. “Brother you will always be in my heart and in the hearts of our family. I love you.”

Anoche mi hermano Iñaki falleció después de una batalla de 5 meses en el hospital tras un transplante de hígado. Hermano siempre estarás en mi corazon y en el de toda nuestra familia. Te amo. 👍

Iñaki was Cristina’s younger brother and just recently she was on the set with El Gordo y La Flaca where she asked for her fans to say a little prayer for her brother.  The funeral will take place next week in Miami.
