Carolina Sandoval Learned To Be Confident By Doing This

Carolina Sandoval, co-presenter from Suelta la Sopa says that she’s always been a woman with many complexes. It’s taken her a lot of time and maturity to overcome these and she’s learned to laugh at herself rather than cry about it.

“I’ve learned to laugh at myself. I’ve learned to teach my daughters to laugh at themselves,” she says to People en Español. Her oldest daughter, Bárbara Camila was born with a hearing problem. She was pregnant for 42 weeks, so this caused her daughter to lose about 40% of her hearing in each of her ears, so she has to use hearing aids.

“All her life she was faced with children who didn’t have filters: ‘What is that and why do you use it, and why do you have to wear a ponytail. Cover it up’” says Sandoval. “My daughter has a ponytail because she plays volleyball. She’s had to grow up to this and has always been very confident of the girl she is.”

Sandoval has nothing to hide and even calls herself the Queen of La Faja. On Instagram she’s shared various videos of her getting into her spandex and even showing her belly and cellulite because it’s not easy to have a perfect body and sometimes you need a little help.

The presenter is currently working on a book that will come out next year called Zero Complexes. “In my book, I have a chapter dedicated to social networks of everything that people have expressed to me on the topic of leaving those complexes,” she says. “You not only come out of the closet when you talk about your sexual orientation. You also come out of the closet when you admit you have a problem and you want to resolve it.”
