Michael Bublé’s Son Is Suffering From Liver Cancer

Singer Michael Bublé and wife Argentinian model Luisana Lopilato recently announced some heart-breaking news about their 3-year old son Noah, that he has cancer. They’ve put everything on hold to be with their child during this difficult time and now Luisana’s sister Daniela has spoken to an Argentinian magazine, Gente revealing that Noah is suffering from liver cancer.

Apparently, Noah was taken to the Otamendi Miroli Hospital in Buenos Aires because he had a high fever. At first they thought he had mumps, but after several tests, they ruled that out and found he had a throat infection. The child also had an abdominal ultrasound, which detected a liver problem. The 3-year-old had a stain on his liver, which they thought was benign, but decided to run additional tests.

“If God wanted it to be discovered that way, it’s because he wants to save Noah,” said their sister-in-law. “Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this. We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it’s got to be done. They say children are normally strong to put up with chemotherapy and my nephew is a warrior.”

According to the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, childhood liver cancer is a disease in which cancerous cells form in the tissue of the liver. Liver cancer is a rare cancer and there are two main types:

Hepatoblastoma: A type of liver cancer that usually does not spread outside the liver. This usually affects children under 3-years-old.

Hepotocellular carcinoma: A type of liver cancer that often spreads to other parts of the body and affects children older than 14 years old.

The symptoms can include:

We don’t know to what extent the child’s cancer has progressed, but we do know that he’s currently receiving chemotherapy. Wishing Noah a speedy recovery.
