Bella Thorne has dyslexia and she’s always been very open about having the learning disability. It’s not something that goes away overnight and the Cuban actress has even written a book series about a girl that has dyslexia.Having dyslexia is more common than you think and in fact, 1 in 10 people are dyslexic, but many don’t even know they have it.
The actress has a 3-book series, the first book is called Autumn Falls and the second one is called Autumn’s Kiss. The books are filled with personal elements from Bella’s own life and the main character even has dyslexia.
“I wanted Autumn to have it [dyslexia] in the book because it’s so part of me and so a part of so many people…I think with dyslexia too, a lot of quirks come in, and that’s what makes you who you are,” says Thorne.
