Stress Shouldn’t Be Part of Every Day

Woman smiling at the camera¡Hola, amorcitos!

The other day I had to go to the doctor for my check-up. I think it’s normal. At least, that’s what I tell myself.

Anyway, I was having a headache and slightly tired when the nurse asked me how I was doing that day. I told her and said, “Creo que es por estrés que tengo de trabajo y cosas así.” She waved it off and said, “Todos tenemos estrés de algo.”

It wasn’t a big deal to her, but it was a big deal to me. Stress manifests itself in different ways and although there’s nothing definitive on this it might help high cholesterol and high blood pressure go higher! In addition, studies have shown that stress may change the way blog actually clots, which can increase a chance of a heart attack. All you need is one.

Because people get stressed, they might not eat well or exercise either. You don’t want your blood sugars to go up because that just means you’re not taking care of yourself.

¡Necesitamos cuidarnos toditos!

So, how do you relieve stress? How can you relieve stress?

1. Go for a walk or do your favorite exercise. Breathing fresh air and taking deep breaths can help to relax you and make you feel like your problems aren’t as big as they may seem at the moment. If they are big, well, a walk can help you clear you head and stay focused on priorities.

2. Stop drinking and smoking. Adding chemicals to your body will increase the stress, not help it. Don’t cloud yourself with things that will hurt you in the long run. Plus, ¡eso no es bueno para ti!

3. Stay positive. Say no to people if you don’t have time to make commitments you can keep and don’t overwhelm yourself.

4. Let it go. It’s your life, remember that. Y sólo tú lo controlas. No one else has say over what you do or how you do it. It’s always good to know what makes you happy.

5. Laugh! Watch a funny movie, hang out with people who love you and do something fun that takes your mind off of things for a little while. You need to be able to control your blood sugars and your stress because your body is all connected. You need to make sure everything is balanced. ¡Eso te va salvar la vida!

Remember, cuídate con todo el corazón.

Hasta la próxima, amorcitos!
