The best thing to do is to seek professional help to make sure your child suffers from this. There are things that you could do at home, such as taking notes to see what your child has the most difficulty with and communicate this with their teachers. Help them do writing exercises and even play games that can help with their wrist muscles and coordination. By doing this you can help your child improve their writing and help them get the help they need early on in their education.
