Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty collection is here and women of color can’t wait to get their hands on it. If you’re olive skin, brown skin, dark skinned, you’ve probably had to deal with having to buy a variety of foundation shades and mix two or three different shades just to get the right mix. Well, this collection has 40 different shades of foundation that aims to cover all skin tones, from the lightest to the darkest.
Her goal for this makeup line was to create makeup for all women, targeting a large range of traditionally hard-to-match-skin tones. The foundation is called Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation which produces a smooth matte finish that gives you the right amount of coverage. The collection includes a large number of makeup including, foundation, primer, highlighter, concealer + contour, brushes, sponges, and just one lip luminizer/lip gloss, which apparently works well with all skin tones.
One of the best parts of this collection is that if you’re a fan of Rihanna’s minimalistic makeup look, they teach you how to get it and which products to use, which is an added bonus.
“I wanted to make sure that all skin tones were covered and to look like perfect skin, not to look like makeup line skin,” says Rihanna.
