Sarah Michelle Gellar and hubby, Freddy Prince Jr. will be celebrating 15 years of marriage in September, which is something extremely rare in Hollywood. The duo met while filming, I Know What You Did Last Summer and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
He credits his long-lasting marriage to good communication and getting to know each other as friends before jumping into a relationship. “We were just friends. That’s one of the reasons I think our relationship has always been so good,” Freddie said in an Interview with E!News. “We were just friends for a good two years before we ever went on a date. She knew what kind of guy I was. She knew what my morals were, what my priorities were and visa-versa. We already kind of knew all the faults in the other person.”

“We ended up being a perfect balance. But it didn’t happen until years after and there was a solid foundation built, and that’s probably the main reason why we’ve always been cool and groovy.”

Obviously, they are both very good looking, but even though they find each other attractive, it’s having a good sense of humor that keeps the relationship fun and exciting. “As long as they can make you laugh, laughter lasts forever,” he said. “If you just think she’s hot or she just thinks you’re hot, you’re in a lot of trouble when you’re 60!
The couple has two children, Charlotte Grace and Rocky James, which for him is one of his most important roles, especially since his own father passed away a year after he was born. “For me being a father, not having a dad, it makes it my No.1 priority,” he explained. “So when my daughter was born, that was pretty much it for me. I became a full-time father. It’s not a job. It’s what I love to do.” He even made a recipe book where the ingredients have 9 ingredients or less, that way he gets to spend more time with his family. Aww…
