In an interview with People Magazine, Lopez talked about her previous relationships with Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony.

“I think different time, different thing. Who knows what could’ve happened? But there was a genuine love there,” she told People Magazine. She called off the wedding back in 2004 due to feeling the pressures from not only the public, but just not feeling it was right at that moment. “We didn’t try to have a public relationship. We just happened to be together at the birth of the tabloids, and it was like ‘Oh my God.’ It was just a lot of pressure,” she explains.
After the divorce, that’s when she turned a leaf and that’s when more projects kept popping up and in a way she felt “empowered.” Probably empowered that she would be able to do all of these things by herself and at the same time take care of her two children.
The singer has been super busy these days with the last season of American Idol, a show in Vegas, starring in Shades of Blue and even performing at a billionaire’s wedding in Russia.
