We’ve seen Ricky Martin grow up on stage. At the young age of 12 he joined Menudo, and now he’s back on tour after taking some time off to care for his twin sons. He’s a busy man and even though he’s currently single after breaking up with Carlos González Abella last year, he’s still hopeful that he will find someone with the same vision in life as he does.

Just recently he shared a great piece of advice on love on Twitter: “Dear friend: Never, under no circumstance call more than once. If he/she doesn’t pick up the phone or calls back, the message is clear. #Advice.
Technology is now a new form of communication, we have cellphones where he hardly call and only text people. So, what should you do when he or she is ignoring you and not returning your calls or texts?
- If he doesn’t care about texting you back, it’s not the end of the world. First of all, some people seem to measure the amount of texts received to how much that person likes you. If he/she doesn’t text that often, then it’s o.k. If he’s interested, he or she will find you. It’s that simple. Sometimes we just have to be a little patient.
- If he or she really cares about you, then they will find a way to make time for you. Don’t make any excuses, the truth is that if you’re important to them, they will make time for you. After all actions speak louder than words.
- Make the effort. All relationships are a two-way street. Don’t expect for him or her to always reach out to you or plan date night. If you want to go somewhere to eat, then make reservations. If you don’t like something or want something, don’t expect them to read your mind.
