Perez Hilton’s first love used to be celebrity gossip, but that focus changed a couple of years ago when he had his two babies via surrogate. The celebrity blogger has been facing scrutiny these last couple of days because he posted a photo on Twitter with his son Mario in the shower. He’s faced a fierce backlash with some people calling him creepy to others supporting him because all parents do this.

“Crazy that this has become today’s hot topic. Seriously if this were @chrishemsworth and his son, people would not be reacting this way,” tweeted Perez.

Several people labeled him a pervert and went as far as calling what he was doing, child abuse. He received a lot of support from fellow parents, saying that there was absolutely nothing wrong with that photo, naked or not. Even though Perez later clarified that he was wearing shorts.
Many parents supported Hilton saying that this photo was beautiful and perfectly normal, a happy child having fun with his dad.

He told the Daily Mail: “Everyone does what they see fit as a parent. Personally, I enjoy putting my swim trunks and taking a shower with my son as often as possible. I’d rather do that than leave him unattended, which will not happen until he’s older and when I’m confident he can be safe alone.”
He later posted this video with his daughter Mia, asking her in the video if she likes to take a bath with daddy, her daughter all smiles!
