“The stickers are handy for schools, libraries, and students to place as reminders for responsible digital citizenship,” said Michael Miles, designer of the stickers and Social Media Manager of MySecuritySign. “Since teens use a variety of social media platforms, we have tailored our stickers for different outlets, from Twitter to Tumblr.”
The messages on the labels for the different social sites include:
- Twitter: “Tweet others as you want to be tweeted.”
- Facebook: “Is your status more important than their feelings?”
- Instagram: “Instarespect.”
- Tumblr: “Respect. Reblog it.”
- Pinterest: “Bully-free board.”
MySecuritySign is cementing the movement with the campaign hashtag, “#TakeNoBullies” as a call to spread positivity online.
