People are willing to help, you just have to reach out and make sure you get that person the help they need as soon as possible.
The 2015 international theme of World Suicide Prevention Day is Preventing Suicide: Reaching Out and Saving Lives. There is a need to speak up and reduce the stigma around talking about suicide prevention safely. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death and it’s something that can be prevented. It’s important to understand the range of factors that contribute to suicide and it’s important to help those in need, even if you just have a small suspicion.
