David Chocarro: Start The New Year By Checking These 4 Numbers

Chocarro says that part of leading a healthy lifestyle is enjoying the type of food you eat and the physical activity you do, that way it doesn’t seem like punishment. He doesn’t like going to the gym, but still finds workouts to do outside of the gym, like running for example. “It’s important to try out different types of physical activities that way it becomes part of your life, something fun that you enjoy doing, not a sacrifice.”

When it comes to exercise and eating healthy, there has to be a balance. “I think the most important thing about eating is to not deprive yourself of enjoying the foods that you like, but definitely have a balance,” he says. If you take care of your physical activity and eat well, then you won’t have big surprises when you visit your doctor and you have those four numbers under control.

As far as new year’s resolutions, his are always the same, to be healthy, for his family to be well, and to reach his goals in the workplace. “When we find the balance in all the aspects of our lives, the resolutions begin to show,” says Chocarro. “My resolution which not a resolution is to do what I enjoy.”
