Dra. Ofrece Servicios Gratuitos Dentales A Los Más Necesitados

Lía Patricia Gallo llegó a Estados Unidos hace 17 años y como la mayoría de las personas que emigran a los Estados Unidos, se ven obligadas a trabajar en cualquier trabajo que puedan para tener algo de comida en la mesa. Gallo limpiaba casas, pero en realidad era dentista en su país natal. Su mundo cambió cuando un dentista estadounidense le ofreció un trabajo e incluso le enseñó a hablar inglés a cambio de que le enseñara a hablar español, informa Mundo Hispanico.

No ejerció en 7 años, pero esta nueva oportunidad la animó a conseguir su grado y aplicó a la universidad de la escuela de la medicina dental, donde fue una de los 20 estudiantes aceptados, de los 2.800 aspirantes. En 2007, obtuvo su título de odontología y pudo ejercer su profesión oficialmente.
