Mauricio Islas Was Bullied In His Youth & Spent 10 Years In Therapy

Bullying is something that many people are victims of, especially in their youth. El Capo actor, Mauricio Islas was a victim of bullying during his childhood and even had to go to therapy for over 10 years to help him recover all of the emotional damage he experienced.

The actor founded an organization called “Mauricio Islas, despertando al ser, solo te queda despertar” (Awakening your being, you only need to wake up) where he offers talks and conferences to prevent bullying. The foundation also helps bullying victims in rehab centers and he has plans of opening a center in the near future.
