For Juanes family is very important and in fact, he talks to his mother every single day. He is close to his family and most recently we learned that his sister, Luz Cecilia has been in a coma for 24 years and they haven’t lost faith because Juanes and his family believe that one day she’ll wake up.
“Everyday of my life I call my house in the morning. It doesn’t matter where I am: ‘Mother, how are you?’ I ask. And she always says: ‘Oh, son, it’s raining a lot or it’s really hot or everyone is doing well,'” he tells El Mercurio daily.
