As we begin the New Year with new goals and new resolutions we may be feeling a little overwhelmed. Luckily, we have 6 apps that will get you on the right track to begin the New Year on the right foot!  Best part, they’re FREE, GRATIS! So don’t worry if you loaded your plate with mom’s tamales, pupusas, y pastelitos, that was 2013! Get a group of friends, download theses apps, and get up and go!!

Nike Training– This one is one of my personal favorites! If you can’t get to the gym down load this app and you have a trainer right in your own home giving you a personal 30-45 min workout! Did I mention, Nike athletes are your trainers!?

MyFitnessPal– Allows you to keep track of your daily diet, count calories, and you can personalize your objectives

DailyBurn Tracker– Allows you to keep track your daily exercises and food intake

My Diet Coach- You put in your goal and motivates you along your journey, gives you daily motivational reminders, FOOD CRAVING PANIC BUTTON!, and weight chart.

Weight Loss & Healthy Food Diet Tracker– get educated about FOOD! Look beyond the calorie count and eat healthy and tasty foods.

MapMyRun- Sí, ya sé que no todos nos gusta correr, but this app is great to use as a motivational tool to get you out the door. Whether you choose to run or go on a brisk walk, you can track your distance, time, rate, and calories burned! Try to run/walk a mile and each day after go a little further, every little helps!

Remember, consistency is key to reaching your goals in 2014! Happy exercising!
