Fumero didn’t post which mask she uses, but a smart guess is that she uses Queen Helene, Mint Julep Masque, which is used for oily and acne prone skin and as an added bonus, it’s only about $6.
Everyone’s skin is different, so what may work for you might not work for someone else, but facemasks do work wonders for your skin, and they are great all year-round.
DIY Face Masks
Brown Sugar Mask: You need 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil. The brown sugar exfoliates dead skin while the coconut hydrates. Apply it in circular motions and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then wash off.
Anti-Acne Mask: You need 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of nutmeg, and 2 teaspoons of milk. Honey naturally kills bacteria to prevent future breakouts and the nutmeg exfoliates gently, which is great for sensitive skin. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse.
Hydrating Avocado Mask: You need half an avocado, 1 teaspoon of organic plain yogurt, and 1 teaspoon of honey. This mask is great for dry skin, it helps leave your skin baby smooth. Mix ingredients and apply to your face for 10-15 minutes, then rinse.
Calming Honey Mask: You need 2 tablespoons of pure honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 wedge of fresh lemon. This mask is great for those that suffer from puffiness and redness. Cinnamon helps reduce inflammation and redness and the lemon acid helps exfoliate the skin and minimize the appearance of dark spots. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse.
