The Secret To Youthful Skin

Beautiful, firm, youthful skin is something that every woman wants. Many women have great skin, but it doesn’t come natural. Beautiful skin starts from the inside out and eating the right foods and keeping hydrated is a big part. Beauty products like moisturizers and serums help, but they can only do so much. Find out what you you need to be eating to enjoy beautiful youthful skin.

Leafy Greens

Eating salad will help cut calories,  but you don’t get much from lettuce other than its high water content. Think about dark leafy greens like spinach and kale, which contain lutein, vitamin A, and collagen-producing vitamin C.leafy greens

Tomatoes

Tomatoes come in different shapes and colors, and the brighter the color the better for your skin. Latinos are at an advantage because we love eating salsa and caldos, that are mostly tomato-based. Tomatoes contain lycopene, which protects your skin from sun damage and even helps improve your skin tone.

Eating whole grains is not only good for your heart health, but also helps fight puffiness. Start your morning off with a bowl of whole grain cereal, oatmeal, or whole wheat bread, which keeps you full, and will help reduce inflammation, which can result in brighter skin.whole grains

Fruits

Eating fruit should be an essential part of your diet, but when it comes to fruits that help keep your skin looking young, think tropical fruits. Fruits like guava, pineapple, strawberries, papaya, kiwi, and others are rich in vitamin C, which help keep wrinkles away.tropical fruits

Nuts

There’s a reason people are crazy about almonds, there’s almond butter, almond milk, toasted almonds, etc. This is because they are loaded with vitamin E, which helps protect collagen, which gives you keep your skin firm. Brazil nuts are also packed with selenium, which is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect from sun damage and age spots.

Fish

Try to have at least one portion of fish every week. Salmon, black cod, sardines or anchovies are a great source of omega-3s. These healthy fats help keep your skin nourished and can even help treat psoriasis. salmon

Protein

Last but not least, protein is an essential nutrient that many take for granted. Eating eggs, lean meats and poultry, and beans are a great source of protein that you need because they contain amino acids that help create collagen in your body. As you age, your skin starts to lose its firmness, which can lead to wrinkles.
