About 80% of how we look depends on how much exercise and on how you eat, she says. That’s how she realized how she needed to start eating. Many people think that it’s genetics, but that’s only a small part, you have to take control over your body. “Women don’t give up. We have to put a halt on excuses because it’s possible to do it,” she says.
Dominicci says that you have to stop eating in front of the TV, unless you’re watching TV while riding the treadmill or doing some form of exercise. Creating a positive environment both physically and mentally is key. Just because a woman is older doesn’t mean she’s less beautiful or has to let herself go.
She says that she suffers from chronic boredom because she can’t do the same type of exercise every day. If she walks 45 minutes or one hour today, then tomorrow she has to go to the gym. Other days she likes going up the stairs, another she does yoga or Pilates. She tries to exercise at least 1 hour, 4 times a week, alternating workouts for different parts of her body.
“I exercise at home, at the gym, and outside. At 50 years old; you’ve figured yourself out, you know what works. I can’t go to the gym everyday, that’s not me. I need variety,”
Seems like Dominicci has nailed her diet and fitness routine. She turned 50 on July 15 and she looks amazing!
