Lemon Juice
Who doesn’t love the smell of lemons? Citric acid found in lemons is said to kill odor-causing bacteria. Simply cut a lemon in half and apply directly onto your armpits, just don’t apply to recently shaven armpits because it will burn!
Baking Soda and Water
Mix 1/8 of a teaspoon of baking soda and a little bit of water to make a paste. Apply to underarms, make sure you don’t use too much water otherwise it will become runny.
Reduce Smell Through Dieting
There are certain foods that make you sweat more, such as spicy foods, caffeine, alcohol, and processed foods. Drink plenty of water and plenty of fruits and vegetables, the higher the water content, the better.
Make Your Own Deodorant
8 Tablespoons Raw/Organic Shea Butter
3/4 Cup Arrowroot Powder
4 Teaspoons Baking Soda
15 Drops Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil
You can slowly ease your way into not wearing any deodorant at all just like Cameron Diaz. If you’ve used anti-perspirant for many years, more than likely your body is used to it, so you may want to try it over the weekend and see how “smelly” you get. You will probably have to clean your armpits a couple of times a day and see how your body reacts to no deodorant.
